| Just a day ago, the BBC news website had an article explaining that the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology had found that over 200mg of caffeine (around 2 cups of coffee) per day doubled the risk of miscarriage. Pat O'Brien, spokesman for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, advises not taking caffeine during the first trimester of pregnancy, based upon these findings. While some are arguing with these results, and saying 2-4 cups of coffee per day isn't bad for your child, perhaps it's better to be safe than sorry. | Report
