The best way to keep produce fresh without putting it in the fridge is to wash it once you bring it home, leave it out (where air can circulate around it, instead of putting it in a bowl, for example), and make sure it is out of direct sunlight.
The produce will break down faster than if it were in the fridge, but using the steps above will assure that it stays fresh as long as possible if NOT being stored in the fridge. | Report
