| A kinder way, is putting double sided tape where they tend to scratch. They on't like the feel of it, and won't scratch there. Pet stores carry a wider version of the reg. roll. | Report

| Rub there noses and faces into whatever they are scratching, you have to be a little rough and definitely not gentle, because they will not want you to do it again. If they are scratching anything else just use the same procedure because it works everytime; I should know because I have three of them and none of them scatch anything but the downstairs stairway post, which they are allowed to do and they tend to show off when they do it. It works believe me!!!!!! | Report
